We followed another skiers tracks down B, up C and then did D and took Skaters Heaven down. At the bottom of the hill a tree is down. I almost didn't recognize this skier in a wetsuit, but a true highlight of the Great Lakes Surf Festival was meeting Mike King, kingxpinn. His film, Lake Effect - A Michigan Ski Film, reflects what Midwest Vertical Journal stands for. While specific to Michigan ski culture, the feelings in the film represent Midwest outdoor culture as a whole. It's unique, it's a little gritty, and most importantly, it has heart.🤘
