OPENING SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10th! – We will be opening our slopes Saturday December 10th!
The snow machines continue to run the snow piles continue to build at the Peaks. For our opening weekend, we are planning to have both the North Peak Quad & Shelter Double Double Chairs open and plan to be skiing & riding on Smiling Irishmen, Canyon, No. 1 to RW, Easy Street to Ski Shop, and Easy Street to Lower Candy Cane.

Great News! Our world class snowcrew hasn’t missed a minute and we’ll be open this weekend!
4 slopes will be open: Bigtime (beginner), Smooth Sailing and Sno Pro (intermediates) and Smokey (expert). We’ll continue to make snow at every opportunity on the rest of the front slopes and will open more terrain as soon as possible.
The Green and Purple lifts will be running from 9 till 4:30 both Saturday and Sunday.
Lift ticket prices are at our special Early Season rate of $35 for adults, seniors and teens and $28 for children 9 to 12. As always, kids 8 and under ski free when accompanied by a skiing guardian.
The Cafeteria, General Store, Rental department, Tune and Demo Center, Ski School and Nub’s Pub will all be open and looking forward to seeing you.
With winter here, well it was here, we will again be hosting the Mining Journal Ski and Snowboard School. This program will begin January 9th and runs for 6 consective weeks. You chose your session and ski that evening for 6 weeks. This program is open to anyone over the age of 6 with any ability. We offer this lesson package on Monday thru Friday and Sundays, there are even a few sessions during the week which are open to adults only!!! This lesson program is $145 if you need lift, lesson and rental or $88 for lift and lesson only. When you take part in the Mining Journal Ski School, you are also added to our Night Club which will allow you to ski additional nights throughout the winter at $13 a night. This package would make a great Christmas Gift!!! Please feel free to call us for more information. Wendy’s Ski School Program
But wait a great gift for the smaller skiier or boarder that might be to young for the Mining Journal Ski School, is the Wendy’s Ski School. This 3 week program is open to children ages 3 to 10. It runs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays or Sundays. You chose one time and one day and then your child will receive their lesson at that time for 3 consecutive weeks. If you need rentals this program will cost $63 and if no rentals are needed then it will be $40. What a great way to give your child a lifetime skill and healthy winter activity! The next Wendy’s Session II begins the week January 7th and Session III will begin on the week of February 4th. Boyne Highlands Resort – Slopes reopen for the season tomorrow at noon! We’ll have the Heather slope open with plans to expand terrain for Saturday and Sunday. Lift ticket pricing Wednesday through Friday is $25 per day (8 & under and 70+ ski free).
