ABR Trails – Spring Race – March 21, 2010 (Canceled)

ABR Trails are closed for the season…after 101 days of skiing, 90 days which were excellent. We had nice mild temps for skiing this year with very few days in the single digits and very days of freeze/thaws.

The ski shop is order for mail order or by appointment only. Discounted Season passes are on sale by phone order or mail in checks. ABR E5299 West Pioneer Road Ironwood MI 49938. Discounted rates $110 Adults (18-64), $95 for Jr and Sr. $300 for a Family.

ABR’s famous Spring Race!  A 19K freestyle race that uses an equalizer format that gives all ages the same chance at winning the race.  There’s also a 6K youth race, 3K junior race, and a 1K Gorilla chase.  The event is well known for the great prizes including skis, poles and more!

Indianhead Mountain – Rail Jam – March 6, 2010

Rail Jam in the Terrain Park starting at 1:00pm. Ski and snowboard categories.

Each contestant gets two runs, best run counts toward score. Judging on a point’s basis.

Entry fee of $10.00 per person. Awards and video playback in the Summit Center at 4:00 pm

Jam format-course is open for 30 minutes

Snowboard 16 and over
Snowboard 15 and under
Skier 16 and over
Skier 15 and under

Medals to top three finishers and prize drawings

Cost is $10.00 – Helmets are mandatory

All entries in terrain park events get entered into drawing for snowboard. Drawing held after final terrain park event.
