~Marry Now or Marry Again~
Sunday, February 12, 2012 ▪ 11 am
Have you dreamed of a Valentine’s wedding? 106 KHQ and Boyne Mountain have partnered to make this and every Valentine’s Day weekend one to remember with a mountaintop ceremony for those wishing to marry or renew their vows in the spirit of romance on Sunday, February 12!
Couples will ride up the famed Hemlock chairlift to the mountain’s top for a group ceremony officiated by radio personality, Tim Nixon. Following the wedding/vow renewals, the happy couples will all together ski or snowboard down the mountain to then celebrate with a champagne toast, passing of lovebird cupcakes and drawing of prize winners at the Snowflake Lounge, located the base of the slopes.
All participating couples will be entered to win a lavish Boyne Mountain Honeymoon Package which includes two nights’ luxury accommodations in the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa, plus lift tickets, Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark passes and a couples’ massage at the resort’s Solace Spa!
Couples are encouraged to dress in appropriate “ski-wedding” attire as the Best Dressed Couple will win a Boyne Mountain Lift and Lodging Package for two.
The celebration in the Snowflake will be brief so all participating couples can enjoy slopes for the entire afternoon and evening with a FREE lift ticket from Boyne Mountain!
Participation details coming soon!
Participants must be able to load the chairlift and ski or snowboard down Boyne Mountain’s beginner/intermediate slopes in order to attend the ceremony. A ticket is not required for entry in the Snowflake Lounge and all ages are welcome until 4:30 pm. Couples marrying are required to obtain a valid Michigan marriage license and must bring it to be signed following the ceremony.
