Kathleen Jontz Breast Health Fund

Through the McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation, the fund provides mammograms to women ages 40 – 64 years old who have no insurance or are underinsured and supports breast health educational programs in our community. In 2016, gifts to the Kathleen Jontz Breast Health Fund provided:

  • 9 patients with digital mammography screenings
  • 159 patients with follow up biopsies using the Steriotactic Breast Biopsy Table and Clinical Engineering Mammography – equipment funded through the Kathleen Jontz Breast Health Fund.
  • 9,080 patients received mammograms with the comfort of Bella Blankets

For each of these women, donor generosity made it possible to receive the screening and testing they needed.

Gathering with the group at the halfway point bonfire, complete with hot toddies and warm cocoa, is sure to leave a lasting impression. Stomp the rest of the way down Cold Springs before arriving at your dinner destination, Stein Eriksen’s. Boyne Mountain – Stash Bash – April 13 – 14, 2013

We’re breaking out the stash at Boyne Mountain!  We’re talkin’ snow stash and we have a ton of it stashed this spring, and we’re taking advantage by building a sick terrain park in the Ramshead area!  “Stretch” (Boyne Mountain’s Terrain Park Manager) and his crew will be building features a little bit bigger and putting together features that have been rolling around in their heads for months.

We’ll be blasting music in the Ramshead area throughout the day to keep you movin’ and groovin’.  Of course, the ticket prices will be at special spring rates, so come on out and check out what the crew can create when their warped minds work in perfect unison with their machines to create a weekend you just can’t miss.

When: Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 from 9am-4:30pm
Where: Ramshead area
