WHAT IS WINTER TRAILS?
Winter Trails 2010 is set for January 9, 2010. Entering its 15th year, the event offers children and adults NEW to snow sports the chance to try snowshoeing and cross country skiing for FREE, and to discover the great fitness and social benefits with these easy-to-learn winter sports. A national snowsports day. Venues will continue to be posted periodically so check back for updates.
As an added benefit and in support of Winter Trails Day and Learn a Snowsport Month, The Homestead is offering 10% off private lessons for all ages Friday through Sunday! Call Snowsports School for reservations. |

The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate a long weekend than at Boyne Mountain for this annual ski weekend. The weekend event runs from Friday, January 14 – Monday, January 17, and will feature non-stop skiing and parties. Participants are coming from all parts of the United States, Canada and the U.K. to experience this annual extravaganza. Great people, great resort and a great time! All events are open to the public.

- King and Queen of the Mountain – Best Ski Outfit contest
- 10pm-2am FEATURED PARTY: The Pj Party – WSG R&B performing artist (TBA), and Celebrity DJ

- Skiing all day (or whenever you decide to wake up)
- 3pm-5pm Afternoon Happy Hour featuring NFL football playoffs
- Tubing

Local entertainer Andre Villoch joins us at Beppi’s, Saturday, January 30th for an exclusive CD release party for his live CD “Live at the Wah”. The party begin at 7pm with drink and food specials. You’ll have an opportunity to meet Andre and purchase cd’s!

Glen Arbor Art Association presents an exhibition of local artists from Michigan’s wine country. Sip wine and enjoy small plates of food as you browse the paintings, drawings and sculptures. The exhibit is located at Mountain Flowers Lodge at The Homestead.
Exhibition hours are 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Cost: $20 per person at the door, which includes two glasses of wine and small food plates. Additional pours are available for $4/glass or 3 glasses for $10. For each ticket sold, $5 will be donated to Glen Arbor Artists scholarship and free after-school art program for students. Call
