Snofari 2012What is Snofari? It’s the most sunspectacular spring skiing & boarding in the Midwest! It’s pristine Lake Effect snow, bluebird days, sun, fun and more fun.  It’s about suntans, music and the smell of brats grilling on the Base Deck.  Oh, and let’s not forget special lodging and lift ticket offers that are sure to help you enjoy the fun at Indianhead!

Spring breaks are the perfect time to head to Indianhead.  We are famous for the amount and quality of our snow.  Indianhead offers the best spring skiing conditions around.

March 16-18 – Pow Wow in the Pines
March 17 – Famous Bikini Races
March 24 – Slush Cup

Indianhead Mountain – Big Chief Rail Jam – January 28

Rail competition in the Big Chief Terrain Park on Sat. Jan. 28th at 1:00 pm.

Categories for skiers and snowboarders. Ages 15/under and 16/over.

Medals awarded to top three in each category, prize drawings for all competitors. Entry fee $10.00-sign up at the ski school desk by noon.

HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL COMPETITORS. Waiver must be signed by parent for all competitors under 18 years old. Results and video playback at 4:00 pm in the Kinder room at the Summit Center.

Big Powderhorn Mountain ski hill is 100% Open!

Big Powderhorn Mountain ski hill is 100% Open! All Operations Moved to the Caribou Lodge

A fire destroyed the Historic Main Lodge building, However, All Lifts will be running at 9:00am Friday Morning as usual. Signs will be posted redirecting some traffic. Tickets, Rental, Snow Sports School, and Lodging all moved to the Caribou Lodge.

Tickets, Rentals, Snow Sports School and Lodging are ready for tomorrow morning. Mountain Conditions are great! Lifts open at 9:00am as usual. 32 of 33 runs open. 7 of 10 Lifts Open. Powder/Packed Powder Machine Groomed. 12″ to 38″ Base. There’s Lots of Winter Left so Come On Out!
